Reliability of CBCT Dataset in Determination of Surgical Approaches of Maxillary Impacted Canine Teeth

Background: One of the most commonly impacted teeth is maxillary canine, right after third molar. Many potential difficulties might arise before, during, and extraction teeth. Performing thorough radiographic exams can be beneficial. The information for a two-dimensional (2D) examination provided by periapical panoramic radiographs (OPG) utilized in conventional dental radiography. Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) novel imaging technology developed response to shortcomings traditional methods. Everyone will gain from these problems resolved. Objectives: This study aims evaluate two types 2D (OPG), 3D approaches diagnosing treating canines. Furthermore, determine best approach selection option surgical removal procedures utilizing OPG CBCT, focusing on sagittal section increased safety efficiency. Materials Methods: prospective investigation 80 patients with CBCT evaluation. Eighteen cases (22.5%) men 62 (77.5%) women reported. Version 27 SPSS used analyze data. independent t-test offered reliability quantitative variables. We Chi-square test qualitative analysis, we cross-tabulation level agreement. Results: result, depending time, was 8.4; there significant difference between radiography prognosis, p-values (0.000) at (0.05). %ages agreement impactions techniques ranged 87.5% 100%. Conclusion: shows that guide provide accurate, reliable, reproducible results assessing predicting kind impaction simple, time-saving manner.
